“We wanted an interactive app that would help students maximize their time and get the most out of their M State experience,” said Shawn Anderson, M State’s Dean of Student Affairs. Through an app, M State aims to increase engagement among its online students and students on its four campuses, increase retention and build connections between students, faculty and staff, he said.
Collaborating with faculty and administrators, the M State leadership team defined the features they needed in a campus engagement app and evaluated a range of platforms. Ready Education was selected for the personalized experience it provides – including individual class schedules, course deadlines and to campus groups and events – and its many student engagement features, such as its Campus Wall and peer-to-peer messaging.

M State will roll out the app on iOS and Android prior to the start of fall semester and looks forward to the enriched student experience it will provide for the 8,000 students enrolled at the college annually.
